This is a cogeneration system introduced to a large-scale shopping center to deal with substantial power load caused by air conditioning due to its long business hours and large space. Different from conventional systems mainly used for hot water supply and space heating, this system gives higher priority on the performance of space cooling. It is expected to be a model installation for a large shopping malls or intelligent office buildings with greater demands for space cooling, which are expected to increase in the future. This shopping center is the largest store of Jusco department store
chain with a 100,000 m2 floor area. A shopping center must provide
space cooling during their long business hours and must save enough
shop floor area and a parking lot. And efficient and compact "Gas
Eco Pack" satisfies these requirements. Much of their demands
of electricity and space cooling are covered with this system.
The system has slashed their annual energy consumption.
