Features of Equipment, Systems and Facilities
Electric power for remote islands has been supplied by using small-scale
diesel generators, in which power cost is relatively high.
The commended system is installed in a remote island in Okinawa. It is a hybrid system composed of a 280 kW wind power generator and 5 units of diesel generator.
