Features of Equipment, Systems and Facilities

The
water quality of reservoir and park pond is often degraded by
water bloom due to eutrophication and photosynthesis. The system
is a floating water-purifying device to suppress the proliferation
of cyanobacteria by stirring water with screw propellers which
are driven by PV power derived from sunshine, the prime cause
for water pollution. The unit revolves around an anchoring point
to cause wide-spread convection, thus disrupting anaerobic and
thermal inversion layer in the bottom. In its place, warm water
and oxygen are fed into the bottom to activate the natural purifying
mechanism. |
Energy saving
Running cost of solar type is zero. Energy saving type requires
only AC 100 V power supply for home use.
Efficient water stirring mechanism (screw propeller)
For stirring a large volume of water, the screw propeller
system is preferred to pumping type system.
Auto-running mechanism (circular movement of unit)
The main unit revolves around an anchoring point driven
by stirring with screw propeller. In spite of its small
size, the unit can stir a large volume of water uniformly
without leaving dead spots.
Easy installation (floating system)
The floating unit can readily installed and displaced by
a tug-boat, requiring no divers' work.
Lower cost, smaller size and simpler construction than
conventional devices
The cost is extensively reduced in comparison to the conventional
systems.
Simple maintenance
Owing to simple construction, failure occurs rarely and
easy maintenance is ensured in contrast to the conventional
systems. The floating construction spares costly checking
by divers and can be fully maintained on the water.
