homes for sale, each equipped with a roof-integrated 3 kW photovoltaic
power generation system, and as a whole, the power generation
scale exceeds 200 kW. This intensive installation scale is the
largest in Japan. Also, the housing complex achieves an excellent
customer-satisfaction rating. This is expected to be a model
case to enhance further intensive installations. |

Features of Equipment, System and Facilities
Kubota’s roof integrated PV system
“Ecolony,” is designed with priority given to the living
environment of dwellers, and it realizes the concept of a power-generating
roof harmonious with the appearance of the house. An ordinary roof
generates electric power as one of its functions. The “Ecolony”
has realized such an ideal image of residential photovoltaic power
generation. Further, with all the houses of a town employing the
“Ecolony,” a desirable environment could be realized
in the town as a whole.
