PV power generation system of 100kW capacity is installed on the factory
roof. The horizontal installation in compliance with the roof geometry
allowed installing 4 time as much power output per unit area in comparison
to the conventional installation. The roof-integrated system used strong
aluminum metal frame and waterproof function, and reduced the installation
cost by 30%.
- Horizontal installation
The horizontal installation allows reducing the construction cost
and effective utilization of limited area of factory roof, in comparison
to the conventional tilted installation. The power generation is kept
high in summer when the solar altitude is high, contributing to coping
with the peak demand for grid power.
- Harmonious design
The horizontal installation allows the PV power generation modules
to be integrated to the factory roof without disrupting the exterior
design, which may be readily approved by architects and designers.
This concept will trigger large scale spread of PV power generation
systems in many factories and warehouses.
- Environment-friendly Construction Works
Efforts are paid to moderate impacts of construction works to the
environment, and reusable containers are used for transporting building
materials.
